Marine Testing Instruments
Marine has two distinct buyers. First, ship interiors — upholstery, curtains, carpet, bedding: the ignition sources the IMO FTP Code asks for (smouldering cigarette and match flame) are already on our upholstery flammability rig. Second, marine textiles — sailcloth, awnings, tarpaulins, boat cover fabrics: our xenon, UV, hydrostatic and tear line covers this today. The FTP Code's own rigs (ISO 1182, ISO 5658-2, ISO 5659-2, ISO 12952) and the ISO 9227 salt spray chamber are BUILT TO ORDER.

These rigs are not catalogue stock. They are manufactured to the specimen holder, burner/heat source and cabinet geometry described in the standard; lead time and price are quoted per project. The instrument is delivered with a calibration report — which is not a certificate of conformity.
