Light Cabinet — Colour Assessment & Colour Matching Booth
We build our light cabinets in our own workshop in Istanbul. The cabinets compare sample and standard under D65, TL84, INC-A and UV light sources to reveal colour differences and metamerism. They are made in 60, 120 and 150 cm sizes with manual or 5-inch touch-screen control; single-source (D65) Basic models and an ISO 3664 colour viewing station belong to the same family.
- 3 sizes: 60, 120 and 150 cm
- 4 standard sources: D65, TL84, INC-A, UV — optional D50 or TL83
- Matt interior that prevents reflection and glare
- Lamp running hours and lamp life tracking on the digital model
- 1-year manufacturer's warranty, spare lamps and technical support

Frequently asked questions
What is a light cabinet used for?
It lets you compare samples, standards and production batches visually under the same, repeatable lighting. Switching between the light sources reveals colour differences and metamerism, so shade approval in the laboratory, in production and in final inspection is made under identical conditions.
What is the difference between D65 and TL84?
D65 (6500 K) is the international reference source representing daylight. TL84 (4000 K) represents store and showroom fluorescent lighting. If a shade matches under D65 but separates under TL84, the product will look different under store lighting.
What is metamerism and how does a light cabinet show it?
Metamerism is when two samples look the same under one light source and different under another. In the cabinet the standard and the sample are compared under one source, then the comparison is repeated under the other sources.
What is the UV lamp used for?
The UV (blacklight) source detects optical brighteners and fluorescent dyes; it is used to check white or optically brightened products.
Should I choose the manual or the touch-screen model?
On the manual model the light sources are selected by push-button. The automatic (A) model has a 5-inch touch screen and tracks lamp running hours and lamp life — suitable for laboratories that need a record of when lamps are due for replacement.
Can a fifth light source be added?
Yes. D50 (5000 K) or TL83 (3000 K) can be added to the 60, 120 and 150 cm cabinets as an optional 5th source.
Do you supply spare lamps?
Yes. We supply D65 and TL84 fluorescent lamps in 60, 120 and 150 cm lengths, UV (black light) lamps in 60 and 120 cm lengths, and a D65 LED tube lamp.
Do you issue a calibration certificate?
A calibration certificate can be issued for each cabinet on request.
What is the warranty?
All light cabinets carry a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, with after-sales technical support and spare lamps.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes. Delivery is EXW Istanbul with export packing included; sea or air freight is quoted separately on request.
How do I get a price?
The price depends on the cabinet size, light sources and control type and is given in a quotation. Send us your requirement on WhatsApp or by phone. For financial leasing see our Leasing page.
