Choosing equipment for membrane testing

Waterproofing, water vapour transmission rate and cold bending assess different properties. Select equipment by the property you need to measure and the test method you will use.

For waterproofing, review the EN 1928 instrument. For water vapour transmission rate, compare WVTR-01A, automatic-weighing WVTR-06A and external-balance WVTR-08E. Cold bending and tearing use separate equipment and fixtures. Refer to each product’s technical table and brochure for specimen and installation requirements.
