  • Power consumption: 800 W for the UVA+ lamp group; 400 W for the D65, UV-A, UV-B and UV-C lamp groups.
  • 20 lamps in total; all lamp groups use electronic ignition.
  • Working area: 90 x 65 x 30 cm.
  • Specimen chamber temperature adjustable between 20 and 35 °C.
  • Moving specimen carrier platform and lamp-life tracking.
  • USB computer communication port as standard; computer, printer and application software optional.

Physical specifications and utilities

Electrical supplyApprox. 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, single phase; build-dependent.
Power / connected loadManufacturer lamp-group rating: UVA+ 800 W; other groups 400 W. Total connected load is specified separately.
Approx. 500–1000 W connected load for preliminary planning.
Overall instrument dimensionsApprox. 1000 × 700 × 700 mm (W × D × H).
Instrument weightApprox. 40–75 kg net.
Gross / shipping weightApprox. 69–118.8 kg gross; estimated packing allowance.
InterfacesUSB computer communication port as standard; computer, printer and application software optional.
Lab requirementsLevel, stable working surface; specimen conditioning follows the selected method.

Dimension order and approximate values are stated in each row. Packaging data are separate from instrument dimensions and net mass. Approx. rows are preliminary engineering estimates based on comparable equipment and function/capacity; they are not verified manufacturing measurements or standard requirements. Installation and shipment are finalised against the approved drawing and nameplate. Estimate scope: base product / one unit; external computer, bench and auxiliary plant excluded.

Specifications, dimensions, and power requirements are approximate and subject to change without prior notice for continuous design improvements.

Product technical specifications and images may vary according to manufacturing conditions and applicable standards.

Listed methods are application references. Suitability is established by assessing the selected hardware, current method and calibration together.

Test parameters for the reviewed method

Values belong to the stated source edition. Test recipe, fixture and delivered instrument configuration are selected together.

TS EN ISO 4892-1:2006 / EN 2000, part 1 only · 5.1.2

  • For the ISO 4892 family, only part 1's irradiance-uniformity clause was reviewed: specimen-plane minimum/maximum ratio at least 70%. Verify this cabinet's lamp spectrum, temperature and humidity equipment separately; lux cannot be converted directly to W/m².

ASTM D1148-13(2018) · 5.1–5.3, 7.3–7.5; UV procedure only applied here

  • 2018 UV option: G151/G154 UVA-340 arrangement; 0.77 W/(m²·nm) at 340 nm, 8 h light at 60 °C / 4 h condensation at 50 °C. Temperatures refer to uninsulated black panel. Verify applicability separately for UV boxes without documented condensation and spectral control.

Control and recording specification

The following are method-specific software/recording requirements; delivered software modules are defined by the order scope.

  • Method code and edition, specimen ID, operator and selected test parameters are linked to the record.
  • Irradiance, temperature and moisture stages are time-aligned; spectral band and integration interval are stated when calculating dose.
  • Raw measurements, units, valid/invalid test flags and the reported result remain traceable.
  • Calculations are checked against known inputs and an independent calculation; sensor channels are checked against calibration values.
