Perspiration Fastness Tester
Ter Haslığı Test Cihazı
Colour fastness in acid and alkaline perspiration.
Model technical data
- The single unit sweat precision testing device includes a stainless steel trunk and 21 acrylic separation plates of 115 x 60 mm.
- 20 samples generally of 100 x 40 mm size are inserted between the plates under a load of 5 kg plates.
Physical specifications and utilities
| Electrical supply | Manual / passive base apparatus; no mains supply assumed. |
|---|---|
| Power / connected load | Approx. 0 W connected load for preliminary planning. |
| Overall instrument dimensions | Approx. 250 × 200 × 200 mm (W × D × H). |
| Instrument weight | Approx. 7–12 kg net. |
| Gross / shipping weight | Approx. 17.7–25 kg gross; estimated packing allowance. |
| Lab requirements | Separate suitable oven / incubator for the perspiration recipe; no mains for the fixture. |
Dimension order and approximate values are stated in each row. Packaging data are separate from instrument dimensions and net mass. Approx. rows are preliminary engineering estimates based on comparable equipment and function/capacity; they are not verified manufacturing measurements or standard requirements. Installation and shipment are finalised against the approved drawing and nameplate. Estimate scope: base product / one unit; external computer, bench and auxiliary plant excluded.
Specifications, dimensions, and power requirements are approximate and subject to change without prior notice for continuous design improvements.
Product technical specifications and images may vary according to manufacturing conditions and applicable standards.
Test and configuration
- Measured output / function
- Colour change and staining after perspiration solution exposure
- Parameters selected for the method
- Acid/alkaline solution, load, temperature and time
- Verification points
- Load, solution pH and oven temperature
Listed methods are application references. Suitability is established by assessing the selected hardware, current method and calibration together.
Test parameters for the reviewed method
Values belong to the stated source edition. Test recipe, fixture and delivered instrument configuration are selected together.
ISO 105-E04:2013 · 4.1 / 4.2 / 6.2
- Composite specimen: 40 ± 2 × 100 ± 2 mm; applied pressure: 12.5 ± 0.9 kPa.
- Oven condition: 37 ± 2 °C; exposure duration: 4 hours.
- Acid solution pH 5.5 ± 0.2; alkaline solution pH 8.0 ± 0.2.
AATCC 15-2009 · 6.2, 9.4-9.5
- Acid perspiration solution pH 4.3 ± 0.2; pressure arrangement uses a 4.54 kg load. Oven exposure 6 h ±5 min at 38 ± 1 °C. Kept separate from ISO 105-E04 temperature, duration and pH recipes.
Control and recording specification
The following are method-specific software/recording requirements; delivered software modules are defined by the order scope.
- The need for integrated software depends on the method and selected hardware; manual instruments use an external test record.
- Method code and edition, specimen ID, operator and selected test parameters are linked to the record.
- The calculation and endpoint are defined by the selected method edition; instrument signals and operator assessments are kept distinct.
- Raw measurements, units, valid/invalid test flags and the reported result remain traceable.
- Calculations are checked against known inputs and an independent calculation; sensor channels are checked against calibration values.
