Tuft-bind test: speed 300 ± 10 mm/min; select the range so force falls within 15-85% of full scale. Use a tuft clamp for cut pile or a loop hook with wire diameter at least 0.8 mm; distinguish yarn break from tuft extraction.

ISO 4919:2012 · 5-7

Tuft-withdrawal force accuracy ±5%; typical force ranges 10/20/50/100 N. Reach peak force in an average 5–10 s. Specimen support at least 60 × 60 mm, opening radius 12 mm around the tuft; calibrate with the grip/hook installed.
